Mike Anderson

CEO & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Mike is an Event Management expert, with over 14 years experience in the business. He completed his studies at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) and joined their team as Entertainment Marketing Manager. After spending 11 years with NAIT growing their Entertainment Division, Mike conceived and launched Trixstar Productions, a full-service Event Management and Production company based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Mike saw a niche in the market that nobody was capitalizing on-celebrity. His belief, as proven by Trixstar’s events, was to inject celebrity into everything they do. With this brand statement in place, Mike has grown Trixstar into the formidable Production Company they are today.

Over the last 5 years, Mike and Trixstar Productions have developed and produced events for the Grey Cup and The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, along with celebrity appearances by Chuck Liddell (UFC), Kevin Dillon (Entourage), Drake (Recording Artist) and Will.I.AM (Black Eyed Peas); to name a few.

In 2010 Mike was named as a “Top 40 Under 40”, while Trixstar Productions was a finalist for “Small Business of the Year, 2010”, as presented by The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, albeit limited, Mike spends time working for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Edmonton and Area, which he has done for the last 10 years. His “Little Brother” is eager to follow in his footsteps and become a Producer.

Mike and his wife Jennifer are the proud parents of two daughters, Kaelin and Claire.
